Heikoin lenkki (English translation: The weakest link) was the first Finnish version based on the Weakest Link hosted by Kirsi Salo that aired for a three series on MTV3 from September 6, 2002 until February 18, 2005. Series 1 had a top prize of €15,000, which was increased to €18,000 by the end of the first series, decreased to €16,000 in series 2, and went back to €18,000 in series 3.

- When Heikoin lenkki first premiered, there were originally nine contestants competing to win up to €15,000 for at least two episodes. During the first series, the show suddenly changed the number of contestants to eight, and the top prize increased to €18,000.
- Throughout the show's run from 2002 to 2005, the presenter Kirsi Salo presented with assisted red hair, which was encouraged to fit with the mean style of presenting. However, during the last few shoots of filming series 3, Kirsi was allowed to present with her natural hair color, which was dark auburn brown.
