Weakest Link was the South African version based on the Weakest Link hosted by Fiona Coyne that aired for five series on SABC 3 from September 3, 2003 until October 27, 2007. Series 1 to 3 had a top prize of R50,000 and series 4 and 5 had a top prize of R100,000.
The South African version is the first and only format to be distributed in the continent of Africa.
